Symbol’s
DC600 is a compact, packaged radio frequency identification (RFID)
portal system designed to enable the rapid deployment of proven and
reliable RFID technology at your dock doors and doorways. It lets you
capture bulk data from a large number of tagged items as they quickly
pass by. With the DC600 in place, you’ll be able to track RFID-tagged
assets, products and cargo as they enter and leave your facilities and
storage areas and move throughout your supply chain.

The DC600
offers a light footprint, flexible installation and multiple
configuration options, allowing you to use it in a number of
environments. The pre-assembled, tuned and tested system lets you deploy
your RFID portal quickly, enabling you to execute standard, repeatable

The DC600
provides all the components you need to quickly establish read zones at
doorways, including a powerful RFID reader, high-performance antenna,
integrated electronics module and cabling, all consolidated in a durable
housing designed to simplify installation, reduce maintenance costs and
improve reliability. With three models to choose from, you’re able to
find the right one for your environment—select the dual configuration
for use between entryways, the single option for individual entryways or
for deployment as an end unit, or the slim configuration for flush-wall
mounting.

system designed to support a number of your enterprise needs, the DC600
delivers increased asset visibility and reduced supply chain shrinkage
when tracking inventory in motion. Use the RFID portal to capture
information about your products as they enter and leave your warehouse,
distribution center, retail store, airport or any other transit area.
Transmit this data to warehousing and inventory management applications
for real-time inventory status. Or integrate it with your point-of-sale
(POS) systems to track low-stock items and efficiently direct

DC600 in place, you’ll be able to capture all RFID tag information
passing through your read zones. It offers next-generation,
multi-protocol RFID reader technology to provide simultaneous support
for both Generation (Gen) 2 and all classes of Gen 1. In addition, the
portal includes Symbol’s next-generation RFID reader to ensure accurate
data capture and long read ranges even in large-scale, dense-reader
environments.
